The Studio
You’re invited into my calm studio space, located right by the sea in Old Portsmouth.
You are welcome to come into my studio, to see what I’m working on or to chat about printmaking. I also host workshops in this space and sell a selection of my work; both framed and unframed. Opening times are below.
My studio is fully accessible, with no steps or ramps to navigate. Toilets are available just across the way from my studio entrance, including a disabled toilet. You can also find a selection of pubs and cafes in the area, and the beach is just a few metres away.
About Hotwalls Studios
I’m a resident at Hotwalls Studios, which hosts a community of artists from various disciplines. Managed by Portsmouth CIty Council, Hotwalls Studios provides affordable workspaces for the creative community. The best time to visit is the first Sunday of each month, when Open Studios takes place and all artists open their doors.
The Hotwalls site was first constructed in 1680 and is a Grade I listed area. In 1850, the area was reconstructed for coastal artillery. The archways below the ramparts used to house soldiers along with gun positions. In 2016, the site was redeveloped as artists studios, and now each archway is occupied by an artist.

Click & Collect is available Monday - Wednesday, simply check-out online and select ‘Click & Collect’ as your postage option. I will be in touch to book your collection date and time.
Opening times are subject to change. There may be times when the studio needs to be closed during the hours stated above. Please see my social media for any updates.
As a small business and independent artist, I’m often attending shows or exhibitions during the weekends. At these times, the studio may be closed or I may not present in the studio. If I’m hosting a workshop, the studio will be temporarily closed to the public too.
