Linocut Taster Session
Not yet ready to commit to a full workshop, but curious about linocut? This short taster session is for you! No previous experience required.
During this taster session, we'll use a pre-made design to experiment with mark making. You’ll get to use the tools and take a print by hand. It's a no-frills session, perfect for you to have a try at carving and printing. It’s also ideal to see if a longer workshop would work for you. At the end of the session, you’ll take home your linocut block and at least one print.
This taster session is a very stripped back workshop. If you are looking for a more in-depth workshop, I would recommend my Introduction to Linocut; this workshop includes advanced tuition for beginners, comprehensive use of tools and materials and the freedom to create your own design.
All skill levels are welcome to attend this taster session, but it is aimed at complete beginners.
More details are below. You must be 16+ to attend. Workshops are held at my studio in Portsmouth, UK.
